The L.E.A.N. Start Program
This six hour program is taught in three weekly sessions, for two hours each. Each paid participant receives a 72 page Parent and Caregivers Guide, and all other informational handouts, activities and healthy snacks. The topics included are Traffic Light Eating and Portion Control, Breakfast and Grains, Vegetables and Fruit, The Skinny on Fat, Power Up with Protein and Play, and Water Your Growing Child. This two hour class is taught in one session. It covers just the basics of the L.E.A.N. Start Program but does not go into all of the detail.
